Well, I usually do this every January. But it seems like we are already in March and I haven’t done much (or anything at all) in this department. Last year I made the mistake of make so many (some unrealistic) goals as well as breaking them down into quarterly goals. I didn’t really meet many of these goals, but here is what I did do:
I lost 40 lbs – I know that’s pretty good. I’m back to my high school weight, this is a pretty big deal. But I still have more to go.
I organized most (not all) of my storage spaces.
I self-published 7 patterns (one of which is a freebie).
Finished one UFO, here it is.
Organized a winter rotating trunk show (instead of summer), does that count?
Start a Triangles, Diamonds, and Squares…Oh My! blanket – I finished it too!!! Not in exactly the colors I had in mind, but very similar.
I am now realizing that some of my goals were completely unrealistic… like eliminating chocolate and dairy from my diet. Was I crazy to think this was possible?!?!?! Those are my two main food groups!
Here are my goals for 2014:
Loose 35 lbs.
Exercise 2-3 times a week (maybe join a gym).
Self-publish 5 patterns (two down, three to go).
Learn to sew and quilt! (I have already signed up for a sewing class in April and a Quilting class on Craftsy).
Waste less food (I’m actually pretty good about this, but I want to get better… I could improve when it comes to leftovers).
Finish one UFO older than 2 years (what shall it be this time???).
Finish my sock yarn Triangles, Diamonds, & Squares… Oh My! blanket I have 97 squares so far — I’m loving it so far, not sure how big I’m going to make it.
